Greatest Champion of Conservative Principles

"In fact, there are at least a few good conservative presidential candidates worth supporting most notably Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX) who is probably the greatest champion of conservative principles we have seen in Congress in the past quarter century."

David T. Pyne, Vice President, National Federation of Republican Assemblies, 03/10/07

"Finally, a choice in 2008"

"The future of American politics had come to look pretty grim to me. However, just when I’ve all but given up, there’s a possibility—not a promise, but a chance—that come 2008, we’ll have a real choice when we go to the polls."

John Silveira, Backwoods Home Magazine

Ron Paul Works for Second Amendment

"To combat directly this erroneous 'sporting purpose' legislative approach, Congressman Ron Paul of Texas recently introduced a measure that would repeal provisions of the Internal Revenue Code and the federal criminal code distinguishing firearms used or suitable for sporting purposes from firearms generally.

"The Paul bill would do much to eliminate the 'sporting purpose' rationale from the equation and restore the right to self-defense rationale to its rightful place."

GOP's Last Chance

"However, the 2008 election is still salvageable for the Republican Party.  They have one chance and one chance only to pull it off.  They must nominate Ron Paul as the Republican Party's Presidential candidate.  With Ron Paul as the Republican nominee, an unusually broad base of support could result."

The Only Good Candidate

"For the sake of this country, I beg you:  Drop your partisanship mindset. Vote for principles, not party.  Vote for Ron Paul in 2008."

Ron Paul Has a Better Chance

"I believe that Ron Paul will scare the living daylights out of the powers-that-be and has a better chance of winning than most pundits think.  The amusement factor alone from an 18-month spectacle of political debate between a principled man committed to liberty and the other fakes and frauds is likely to be worth the price of admission.  This will be a media event of the highest entertainment order for sure. "Giuliani Can't Win the General Election"

"There are now four conservatives in the race for the Republican nomination; Rep. Ron Paul, Rep. Duncan Hunter, Governor Jim Gilmore, and Rep Tom Tancredo. Any one of these gentlemen could beat Hillary or Obama in the general election. Giuliani can’t do it."

The Political Web

"And prominently displayed on the home page is that up-to-the-minute scorecard of nearly all of the presidential candidates' MySpace friends.  The Republican hopeful with the most pals - nearly 3,300 as of Sunday - is Ron Paul, a GOP Texas congressman who's running for president.

"Sifry said the MySpace numbers mean something, though it's unclear whether a candidate's online friends will cast real-world votes.  'It is a measure of enthusiasm,' he said.  'It's the world live Web now, and it reflects the conversations people are having around the digital water cooler.'  Such as: who, exactly, is this Ron Paul guy?"

"Republican Ron Paul, a Texas congressman, says it is part of a drive for 'an integrated North American Union' - complete with a currency, a cross-national bureaucracy and borderless travel. 'It would represent another step toward the abolition of national sovereignty,' he said."
